Be Honest and Transparent

As a member of the UXxUX community, we ask that you do not participate anonymously or with a pseudonym. We encourage our members to represent themselves authentically because we seek to foster open, honest, and supportive discussions. We rely on our community members to notify us of behaviours inconsistent with this Code of Conduct.

No Confidential Information

Do not share confidential information. While we want the UXxUX community to be open and transparent, it is not an appropriate forum for sharing your company's confidential information.

Not a Marketing or Hiring Channel

We encourage active participation from all members, including partners. Still, please do not use the UXxUX community for the blatant promotion of products or services or with the explicit purpose of hiring and recruiting— we encourage the community to make networking contacts and build relationships. Other community members may monitor the community to help keep it a trusted and useful environment, free of self-promotion and spam.

Reporting

If a member of the UXxUX community is harassing you, notices that someone else is being harassed, or has any other concerns, please contact us at info@uxunconference.com. If the person harassing you is on the UXxUX team, they will recuse themselves from handling your incident. We will respond as promptly as we can.

This Code of Conduct applies to UXxUX community spaces, but if you are being harassed by a member of the UXxUX community outside of our spaces, we still want to know about it. We will take all good-faith reports of harassment by UXxUX community members seriously. This includes harassment outside our spaces and harassment that occurred at any time. The abuse team reserves the right to exclude people from the UXxUX community based on their past behaviour, including behaviour outside the UXxUX community spaces and behaviour towards people not in the UXxUX community.

We will respect confidentiality requests to protect victims of abuse

Reporting Consequences

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, we may take any appropriate action, up to and including expulsion from all UXxUX community spaces and identification of the participant as a harasser to other UXxUX community members or the general public.
